# Getting Started with FairPool

### **Step-by-Step Tutorial**

**Step 1: Register an Account**

* Visit <https://www.fairpool.network> and click on the "Register" button.
* Fill in your username (Lowercase only) and password. It's recommended that you save this information for future reference.
* You’ll also need to provide a Bitcoin address during registration. This is where your mining earnings will be sent, but don’t worry—you can update this address later if needed.

**Step 2: Configure your mining equipment settings**

Now that your account is set up, it’s time to configure your miners to connect to FairPool:

* Go to the homepage of FairPool and find the "Mining Address" section.
  * For Fractal Mainnet - Copy the mining pool address: `stratum+tcp://pool-solo.fairpool.network:3333`
  * For Fractal Testnet - Copy the mining pool address: `stratum+tcp://pool-solo-t1.fairpool.network:3333`

In your mining equipment’s settings, input the following details:

* **Pool Address for Mainnet**: `pool-solo.fairpool.network:3333`
* **Pool Address for Testnet:** `pool-solo-t1.fairpool.network:3333`
* **Username:** Name your miner in the format `user_name.worker_name`, where `user_name` is the username you registered with in the first step, for example: `alice.x01`(Lowercase only) . The `worker_name` is the name of your mining machine, but this is not mandatory.
* **Password:** Leave this field empty; it’s not required.

After connecting, you should see your miners’ real-time hashrate displayed on FairPool’s homepage, confirming that you’re successfully mining.

**Step 3: Monitor and Receive Your Earnings**

Once your miners are up and running, here’s how you’ll receive your earnings:

* **Daily Settlement:** Your earnings are calculated and finalized daily at 00:00 (UTC).
* **Automatic Payouts:** At 06:00 (UTC) per day, your earnings will be automatically sent to the Bitcoin address you registered with.
* **Check Your Balance:** You can log in to your FairPool account anytime to check your current balance and review your earnings history.
